RECONFIGURABLE IMPLEMENTATIONS OF CHUA'S CIRCUIT
Chua's circuit is very suitable as a programmable chaos generator because of its robust nonlinearity. In addition to exhibiting a rich variety of bifurcation and chaos phenomenon, this circuit can be modeled and realized with a fixed main system block and many different nonlinear function blocks such as piecewise-linear function, cubic-like function ...

Several realizations of Chua's circuit have been proposed in the literature. The methodologies used in these realizations can be divided into two basic categories. In the first approach, a variety of circuit topologies have been considered for realizing the nonlinear resistor, NR in Chua's circuit.

This paper proposes a novel way to look at Chua's circuit and to investigate its chaotic behavior. We propose a systematic method to increase the dimension of Chua's circuit and to choose the element values. Our claims are confirmed by numerical simulations on Chua's circuit and on modified Chua's circuit and also supported by experimental results.

Homoclinic bifurcation in Chua’s circuit [PDF]
We report our experimental observations of the Shil'nikov-type homoclinic chaos in asymmetry-induced Chua's oscillator. The asymmetry plays a crucial role in the related homoclinic bifurcations. The asymmetry is introduced in the circuit by forcing a DC voltage.

Hidden dynamics and multi-stability in an improved third-order Chua's circuit
By utilising an active diode pair to substitute the classical Chua's diode, an improved third-order Chua's circuit is proposed in this study. This circuit has an unstable zero saddle point and two stable non-zero saddle-foci in a local parameter region ...

HYPERCHAOS IN A MODIFIED CANONICAL CHUA'S CIRCUIT
In this paper, we present the hyperchaos dynamics of a modified canonical Chua's electrical circuit. This circuit, which is capable of realizing the behavior of every member of the Chua's family, consists of just five linear elements (resistors, inductors and capacitors), a negative conductor and a piecewise linear resistor.

New Canonical State Models of Chua's Circuit Family
Two new modified types of canonical state models simulating chaotic phenomena in piecewise-linear dynamical systems are derived. Both are topologically conjugate to Class C similarly as Chua's circuit family.

CANARDS FROM CHUA'S CIRCUIT [PDF]
The aim of this work is to extend Benoît's theorem for the generic existence of "canards" solutions in singularly perturbed dynamical systems of dimension three with one fast variable to those of dimension four. Then, it is established that this result can be found according to the Flow Curvature Method. Applications to Chua's cubic model of dimension

Simplified Chua's attractor via bridging a diode pair
In this paper, a simplified Chua's circuit is realised by bridging a diode pair between a passive LC (inductance and capacitance in parallel connection - LC) oscillator and an active RC (resistance and capacitance in parallel connection - RC) filter. The

Drift of invariant manifolds and transient chaos in memristor Chua's circuit
The article shows that transient chaos phenomena can be observed in a generalized memristor Chua's circuit where a nonlinear resistor is introduced to better model the real memristor behaviour.
