El río Gualjaina, afluente del río Chubut, Patagonia, Argentina, desarrolla una cuenca de 2,800 km 2 . El conocimiento de las variables físicas y antropogénicas de una cuenca hidrográfica, sumado al marco legal aplicable, permiten el manejo integrado de la misma con el objetivo de preservar y asegurar la sustentabilidad del ambiente.
