Stabilization and symbolism: language and regional politics in the Chuvash Republic

The verbal nouns in /DOk/ are also used predicatively in Orkhon Turkic but the examples are mostly negative predicates in /mADOk/. Therefore, a verbal predicate /mAmIş/ invisible in Old Turkic. There are only affirmative examples in the Runic texts as
