One of the less common functions of the /DOk/ in the Old and Middle Turkic is to build a finite forms. The verbal nouns in /DOk/ are also used predicatively in Orkhon Turkic but the examples are mostly negative predicates in /mADOk/. Therefore, a verbal predicate /mAmIş/ invisible in Old Turkic.
