Gradation trajectories as an analog of gradation curves in the metric CIE Lab space: discrete approach

open access: yesComputer Optics, 2019
In the work, an approach that uses three-dimensional gradation trajectories in the CIE Lab metric space as analogs of traditional gradational curves is developed. It is shown that the mathematical apparatus of differential geometry of spatial curves describing gradation trajectories can be supplemented by a simpler discrete approach.

Color Enhancement for Four-Component Decomposed Polarimetric SAR Image Based on a CIE-Lab Encoding [PDF]

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2018
Color enhancement of decomposed fully polarimetric synthetic aperture radar (PolSAR) image is vital for visual understanding and interpretation of the polarimetric information about the target. It is common practice to use RGB or HIS color space to display the chromatic information for polarization-encoded, Pauli-basis images, or model-based target ...

Elucidating the Role of Innate and Adaptive Immune Responses in the Pathogenesis of Canine Chronic Inflammatory Enteropathy—A Search for Potential Biomarkers

open access: yesAnimals, 2022
Canine chronic inflammatory enteropathy (CIE) is one of the most common chronic gastrointestinal diseases affecting dogs worldwide. Genetic and environmental factors, as well as intestinal microbiota and dysregulated host immune responses, participate in

Hyperimmune antirabies sera titration by standard mouse neutralization and counterimmunoelectrophoresis tests, comparing results of different laboratories Titulação de soros anti-rábicos hiperimunes, através da soroneutralização em camundongos e contraimunoeletroforese. Comparação dos resultados obtidos em diferentes laboratórios

open access: yesRevista do Instituto de Medicina Tropical de São Paulo, 1995
To determine the rabies antibody level of twenty-four hyperimmune equine sera, Standard Mouse Neutralization (SMN) and Couterimmunoelectrophoresis (CIE) tests were carried out, both at the Instituto Butantan (IB) and Instituto Panamericano de Protección ...

Ki‐67/CD3 ratio in the diagnosis of chronic inflammatory enteropathy in dogs

open access: yesJournal of Veterinary Internal Medicine, 2020
Background T cells play a key role in the pathogenesis of chronic inflammatory enteropathy (CIE) in dogs. Cluster of differentiation 3 (CD3) antigen serves as a marker for T cells.
