Mechanisms of Temperature‐Dependent Hysteresis in Freestanding BaTiO3/MoS2 Heterostructures

Freestanding ferroelectric BaTiO3 membranes are combined with monolayer MoS2 into 2D field‐effect transistors. At room temperature they provide ultrahigh‐κ gating with steep subthreshold swing and minimal hysteresis. Upon cooling, strong ferroelectric switching produces two stable memory states with long retention times.

Second‐Sphere Aromatic Substitutions That Tune H‐Atom Transfer Reactivity Observed for a Series of S = 1 Nonheme FeIV=O Complexes: An Enthalpy‐Entropy Compensation Effect

A series of oxoiron(IV) complexes was synthesized to determine the impact of electronically tuned aromatic substitution in the secondary sphere of the ligand. Despite possessing identical electronic properties, they show significant differences in C─H oxidation reactions.

A de‐novo Approach Towards Divergent [3+2π/σ] Photocycloadditions of Nitrones via Assembly‐Controlled Kinetic Electron Transfer Gating

A metal‐free photocatalytic platform converts nitrones into 4‐isoxazolines and oxa–aza–bicycloheptanes through divergent [3+2π/σ] cycloadditions. Assembly‐controlled kinetic electron transfer gating dictates substrate activation, enabling selective reactivity beyond thermodynamic expectations.

Controllable Superconductivity in Suspended NbSe2

Suspended NbSe2${\rm NbSe}_2$ provides two complementary routes for controlling superconducting transport. Gate‐driven deformation strains the suspended crystal and tunes its critical temperature and current. Weak thermal anchoring enhances thermal feedback, contributing to multistep hysteresis and negative differential resistance.
