Cardiac Tagging with Breath‐Hold Cine MRI [PDF]
AbstractA method is presented for measuring myocardial deformation in a breath‐hold with tagged cine MRI. Tagged cine images of human hearts are obtained in arbitrary oblique planes on a standard imager with as few as four heartbeats. The scan time has been reduced 16‐ to 64‐fold from previous techniques.© 1992 Academic Press,Inc.

Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has been largely dependent on retrospective cine for data acquisition. Real-time imaging, although inferior in image quality to retrospective cine, is more informative about motion dynamics.

A tagged-cine MRI investigation of German vowels [PDF]
This project investigates the articulatory properties of German vowels on the basis of tagged Cine-MRI data. German has 15 monophthongs, which are classified into seven tense-lax pairs. Understanding the phonetic correlate of vowel tenseness has proven elusive, partly due to the difficulty of obtaining global shape information for the tongue ...

Retrospective Electrocardiography-Gated Real-Time Cardiac Cine MRI at 3T: Comparison with Conventional Segmented Cine MRI [PDF]
Segmented cardiac cine magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is the gold standard for cardiac ventricular volumetric assessment. In patients with difficulty in breath-holding or arrhythmia, this technique may generate images with inadequate quality for diagnosis. Real-time cardiac cine MRI has been developed to address this limitation.

Dynamic magnetic resonance imaging of the cerebrospinal fluid flow within the cerebral aqueduct by different FISIP 2D sequences [PDF]
Background/Aim. A vast majority of current radiogical techniques, such as computerized tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) have great potential of visualization and delineation of cerebrospinal fluid spaces morphology within cerebral ...

Left Ventricular Function Evaluation on a 3T MR Scanner with Parallel RF Transmission Technique: Prospective Comparison of Cine Sequences Acquired before and after Gadolinium Injection. [PDF]
OBJECTIVES:To compare cine MR b-TFE sequences acquired before and after gadolinium injection, on a 3T scanner with a parallel RF transmission technique in order to potentially improve scanning time efficiency when evaluating LV function.
