Cardiac structure and function during ageing in energetically compromised Guanidinoacetate N-methyltransferase (GAMT)-knockout mice – a one year longitudinal MRI study

open access: yesJournal of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, 2008
Background High-resolution magnetic resonance imaging (cine-MRI) is well suited for determining global cardiac function longitudinally in genetically or surgically manipulated mice, but in practice it is seldom used to its full potential.

Fast Localized Calibration for Spatial‐Spectral Excitation Without Fly‐Back Gradients

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 96, Issue 5, Page 2253-2265, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose Standard spatial‐spectral excitation pulses apply a fly‐back gradient between sub‐pulses, limiting, for example, how thin the slices can be (> 4 mm). Without fly‐back gradients, slices can be as thin as 1.7 mm but require a phase calibration for the sub‐pulses with inverted gradients due to system imperfections.

Cardiac MRI Prescription Planes

open access: yesMedEdPORTAL, 2014
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has become a major modality for the evaluation of the heart. However, obtaining the standard imaging planes in an efficient manner can be challenging for the novice MRI technician and/or imaging physician.

Generative MR Multitasking With Complex‐Harmonic Cardiac Encoding: Bridging the Gap Between Gated Imaging and Real‐Time Imaging

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 96, Issue 5, Page 2440-2450, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose To develop a unified image reconstruction framework that bridges real‐time and gated cardiac MRI, including quantitative MRI. Methods We introduce generative multitasking, which learns subject‐ and dataset‐specific implicit neural temporal bases from sequence timings and an interpretable latent space for cardiac and respiratory motion.

Cine Garay

open access: yes, 2011
Durante muchos años funcionó en Santa Fe el Cine Garay, en el Colegio de la lnmaculada Concepción. El dinero que se obtenía por el cine, fue utilizado para otorgar becas a los alumnos del Colegio. El cine ya no funciona más.

Comparison of Amplitude‐ and Amplitude‐Frequency‐Modulated Pulses for Outer Volume Suppression in Cardiac MRI: Application to Myocardial T2 Mapping

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 96, Issue 5, Page 2240-2252, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose To evaluate single‐ and dual‐band pulse modules for suppressing extra‐cardiac signal in cardiac MRI, and test their applicability for time‐efficient imaging with reduced FOV in myocardial T2 mapping at 3 T. Methods Outer Volume Suppression (OVS) was implemented using two regional saturation slabs, along the phase‐encoding direction ...

Hypoxia-specific MRI contrast agents

open access: yes, 2018
Introduction: Hypoxia or decreased availability of oxygen in tumours is of significant interest in oncology as it is known to increase radiotherapy and chemotherapy resistance, and promote tumour progression [1, 2]. For better prognosis of solid tumours,

Flow 2.0: A Standardized Toolbox for Real‐Time Phase‐Contrast MRI of Neurofluid Dynamics

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 96, Issue 5, Page 2092-2105, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose Real‐time phase‐contrast MRI (RT‐PC) enables continuous quantification of physiological flow dynamics across multiple temporal frequencies, but its broader application is limited by complex and fragmented post‐processing workflows.
