Optimal access point (AP) placement inside an industrial layout is important to ensure excellent connectivity. However, wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) AP placement is complicated because industries exhibit distinct radio propagation characteristics and ...

Combinatorial Calabi flows on surfaces [PDF]
For triangulated surfaces, we introduce the combinatorial Calabi flow which is an analogue of smooth Calabi flow. We prove that the solution of combinatorial Calabi flow exists for all time.

Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

An Algorithm for Designing Circles in a Bubble Chart
In this study, we investigated circle design in a bubble chart. The bubble chart that we designed has a unit circle at the center and is surrounded by a series of layered circle rings.

The Apollonian structure of integer superharmonic matrices
We prove that the set of quadratic growths attainable by integer-valued superharmonic functions on the lattice $\mathbb{Z}^2$ has the structure of an Apollonian circle packing.

Packing circles within ellipses [PDF]
AbstractThe problem of packing circles within ellipses is considered in the present paper. A new ellipse‐based system of coordinates is introduced by means of which a closed formula to compute the distance of an arbitrary point to the boundary of an ellipse exists.

Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

On the solid-packing constant for circles [PDF]
A solid packing of a circular disk U U is a sequence of disjoint open circular subdisks U 1 , U 2 , ⋯ {U_{1,}}{U_{2,}} \cdots ...
