Rating of Oil Circuit Breakers [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers, 1916
Paper points out several difficulties, which are encountered in the rating of actual circuit breakers, but generally favors that these ratings be on the basis of the current to be opened in the arc at the operating voltage of the system.

Survey on Visualization of Information Diffusion over Networks

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract Information Diffusion (ID) describes how a value (e.g., a pathogen, a rumor, a packet) spreads through an underlying “medium” network of elements (e.g., a social or computer network). Understanding the information diffusion process is essential to predicting trends, controlling misinformation, and enhancing decision‐making as well as ...

Fault Diagnosis of Universal Circuit Breakers Based on Variational Mode Decomposition and WOA-DBN

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Universal circuit breakers are crucial devices in power systems, and the accuracy of their fault diagnosis is vital. However, existing diagnostic models suffer from low feature extraction rates and low diagnostic accuracy.

Caregivers' perspectives of support needs for adolescents with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder

open access: yesChildren &Society, EarlyView.
Abstract Research focused on fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) is often deficit‐focused, limiting a holistic understanding of individuals' support needs. Families of adolescents with FASD also struggle to access appropriate services. Using semi‐structured interviews, the current study explored the perspectives of seven caregivers of adolescents ...

Learning Factory‐Based Training Scenario in Vocational Education and Training Center

open access: yesInternational Journal of Training and Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Industry 4.0 training has become a challenge. Many existing programmes are targeted at students and employees rather than at job seekers without prior industry experience. Vocational Education and Training (VET) centres are also a key element in the Industry 4.0 ecosystem, as they play an essential role in delivering training in this field ...

A path‐based two‐commodity flow model and a branch‐price‐and‐cut algorithm for the inventory routing problem with time windows

open access: yesInternational Transactions in Operational Research, EarlyView.
Abstract We study an inventory routing problem with time windows (IRPTW). A single supplier serves a set of customers to fulfill their demand throughout a planning horizon. Each customer can be visited only within designated time windows, assuming each customer provides a single delivery time window valid for all periods.
