Periodic Solutions for Circular Restricted -Body Problems [PDF]
For circular restricted -body problems, we study the motion of a sufficiently small mass point (called the zero mass point) in the plane of equal masses located at the vertices of a regular polygon. By using variational minimizing methods, for some , we prove the existence of the noncollision periodic solution for the zero mass point with some fixed ...

Four-body co-circular central configurations [PDF]
We classify the set of central configurations lying on a common circle in the Newtonian four-body problem. Using mutual distances as coordinates, we show that the set of four-body co-circular central configurations with positive masses is a two-dimensional surface, a graph over two of the exterior side-lengths.

Minimal velocity surface in the restricted circular Three-Body-Problem
In the framework of the restricted circular Three-Body-Problem, the concept of the minimum velocity surface S is introduced, which is a modification of the zero-velocity surface (Hill surface). The existence of Hill surface requires occurrence of the Jacobi integral. The minimum velocity surface, other than the Jacobi integral, requires conservation of

Circular Restricted n-Body Problem
This paper introduces the Circular Restricted n-Body Problem (CRNBP), an extension of the bicircular restricted four-body problem (BCR4BP) designed to describe the dynamics of an n-body system. In the CRNBP, each massive body in the system is constrained to follow a Keplerian motion, similar to the BCR4BP's artificial constraint.

Many-body perturbation theory calculations on circular quantum dots [PDF]
The possibility to use perturbation theory to systematically improve calculations on circular quantum dots is investigated. A few different starting points, including Hartree-Fock, are tested and the importance of correla- tion is discussed. Quantum dots with up to 12 electrons are treated and the effects of an external magnetic field are examined. The

Short-range guiding can result in the formation of circular aggregates in myxobacteria populations. [PDF]
Myxobacteria are social bacteria that upon starvation form multicellular fruiting bodies whose shape in different species can range from simple mounds to elaborate tree-like structures.

Celestial mechanics of elastic bodies [PDF]
We construct time independent configurations of two gravitating elastic bodies. These configurations either correspond to the two bodies moving in a circular orbit around their center of mass or strictly static configurations.Comment: 16 pages, 2 figures,

AbstractImportant properties of the dynamics of a spacecraft can be obtained from the Circular Restricted Three Body Problem and the Bi-Circular Bi-planar Four Body Problem. In this work, both systems are compared under the perspective of the costs involved in a transfer between the smaller primaries.

Dynamics of a System of Two Connected Bodies Moving along a Circular Orbit around the Earth [PDF]
Symbolic–numeric methods are used to investigate the dynamics of a system of two bodies connected by a spherical hinge. The system is assumed to move along a circular orbit under the action of gravitational torque. The equilibrium orientations of the two-
