Asymmetric Diphosphane Dioxides With A–π–A–π’–D Scaffolds for High‐Purity Deep‐Blue Luminescence

Chemistry – A European Journal, Volume 32, Issue 36, 24 September 2026.
Diphosphane dioxide‐based luminophores with donor–π–acceptor– π’–acceptor scaffold enable efficient deep‐blue emission from tunable charge‐transfer states affording high photoluminescence up to 95%. OLEDs reach EQE 4.9%, aided by triplet–triplet annihilation, highlighting a practical route to high‐performance blue emitters.

Regioselective Oxidative Oligomerization of 2‐Tert‐Butylpyrene Toward Structurally Defined Oligomers and Their Application in Organic Light‐Emitting Diodes

Treatment of 2‐tert‐butylpyrene with Cu2+ afforded structurally well‐defined pyrene oligomers, up to the 13‐mer. Single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction, spectroscopic analyses, and computational studies were conducted to evaluate the properties of the resulting oligopyrenes.
