Phase‐Resolved Dual Control of Phenol Photodissociation at the Air–Water Interface From Structure‐Resolved Statistics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Faster phenol photolysis at the air–water interface arises from two cooperative factors: a more favorable initial microenvironment for solvent‐side electron stabilization, which lowers CI access, and a more labile hydrogen‐bond network, which more readily reorganizes to stabilize the dark‐state intermediate.

National holidays. Civic religions and political rituals in the liberal Europe of the «long Nineteenth Century» | Las fiestas nacionales. Religiones de la patria y rituales políticos en la Europa liberal del «largo siglo XIX»

open access: yesPasado y Memoria, 2004
In nineteenth-century Europe, the symbolic conflicts involved in the construction of the so-called «civic religions» took place in a public sphere in which rituals from the past were performed with a double aim: that of representing the new bourgeois ...

Bio‐Inspired Bidirectional Winding Origami With Programmable Modular Reconfigurability and Scalability

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A bio‐inspired bidirectional‐winding origami platform enables scalable and programmable deployable structures. Double axial folding inspired by earwig hindwings and Flasher‐based hybridization create modular multilayer architectures with diverse attainable winding angles under fixed boundary conditions.

Asymmetric Single‐Atom Catalysts Govern Diffusible and Non‐Diffusible Non‐Radical Pathways for Selective Degradation of Antibiotic Resistance Genes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Asymmetric single‐atom metal‐nitrogen‐carbon catalysts modulate the non‐radical pathway during peroxymonosulfate (PMS) activation. A fundamental contrast was revealed between diffusible singlet oxygen (1O2) and non‐diffusible electron‐transfer pathways (ETP) in antibiotic resistance gene (ARG) degradation.

A Consecutive Interpreting Study of the Keynote Speech on the Opening Ceremony of the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Education and Humanities
As a real-time bilingual processing activity, consecutive interpreting consists of three stages:source language listening and identification, information memorization and target language production. This paper chooses the consecutive interpreting recording of keynote speech on the opening ceremony of the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations as

The Plant‐to‐Plant Circular Strategy: Coupling Photodegradation and Phytoremediation With Plant‐Based Nanomaterials for Plastic Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Plant‐based nanomaterials derived from alfalfa serve as dual‐function catalysts, coupling photodegradation and phytoremediation to degrade polyethylene under UV‐A light and in soil. The nanomaterials work synergistically with alfalfa and soil microbes, achieving efficient plastic breakdown without trophic transfer.

Stacking Pressure‐Driven Interfacial Dynamics in Anode‐Free Solid‐State Lithium Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Using a three‐electrode setup, it is found that stacking pressure improves both anode and cathode interfaces but more effectively stabilizes the anode. Under low pressure, a sudden anode resistance rise indicates contact loss. Higher pressure delays this via Li creep and plastic deformation, maintaining interfacial contact.
