New determination of |V ub /V cb | from B s 0 $$ {B}_s^0 $$ → {K − , D s − $$ {D}_s^{-} $$ }μ + ν
We update the full set of B ¯ $$ \overline{B} $$ s → K form factors using light-cone sum rules with an on-shell kaon. Our approach determines the relevant sum rule parameters — the duality thresholds — from a Bayesian fit for the first time.

Minimal ten-parameter hermitian texture zeroes mass matrices and the CKM matrix [PDF]
Hermitian mass matrices for the up and down quarks with texture zeroes but with the minimum number of parameters, ten, are investigated. We show how these {\em minimum parameter} forms can be obtained from a general set of hermitian matrices through weak basis transformations.

The Renormalization Group Evolution of the CKM Matrix [PDF]
We compute the renormalization of the complete CKM matrix in the MSbar scheme and perform a renormalization group analysis of the CKM parameters. The calculation is simplified by studying only the Higgs sector, which for the \beta-function of the CKM ...

First look at CKM parameters from early Belle II data [PDF]
After its commissioning in 2018, the Belle II experiment has started registering first physics data delivered by SuperKEKB in 2019. The Belle II physics program focuses on the search for physics beyond the standard model with precise measurements in the flavour sector. The huge targeted dataset and the B-factory particular collision scheme will help to

Measurement of HQET Parameters and CKM Matrix Elements [PDF]
The determination of CKM matrix elements in the b-sector is discussed, emphasizing the new measurements of Vub and Vcb by the CLEO collaboration.

B Physics - A Theoretical Review [PDF]
This overview of what we can hope to learn from high-statistics experiments in B physics in the next few years includes: (a) a review of parameters of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) Matrix; (b) direct determination of magnitudes of CKM elements; (c)

αs and |Vcs| determination, and CKM unitarity test, from W decays at NNLO
The hadronic (ΓhadW) and total (ΓtotW) widths of the W boson, computed at least at next-to-next-to-leading-order (NNLO) accuracy, are combined to derive a new precise prediction for the hadronic W branching ratio BhadW ≡ ΓhadW/ΓtotW=0.682±0.011par, using

Prospects of CKM parameter measurements at Belle II [PDF]
The Belle II experiment is a substantial upgrade of the Belle detector that will operate at the SuperKEKB energy-asymmetric $e^+e^-$ collider. Belle II is preparing to start recording collisions at the $\Upsilon(4S)$ energy in 2018 and collect $50\text{ ab}^{-1}$ of data by 2025, a factor of 50 more than the Belle experiment.

2000 CKM-triangle analysis a critical review with updated experimental inputs and theoretical parameters [PDF]
Within the Standard Model, a review of the current determination of the sides and angles of the CKM unitarity triangle is presented, using experimental constraints from the measurements of | _K|, |V_{ub}/V_{cb}|, m_d and from the limit on m_s, available in September 2000.

On the statistical treatment of the Cabibbo angle anomaly
We point out that testing the equality of the Cabibbo angle as extracted from Γ(K → πlν), the ratio Γ(K → lν)/Γ(π → lν) and nuclear β decays is not identical to a test of first row unitarity of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) matrix.
