Prospects of CKM parameter measurements at Belle II [PDF]
Semileptonic and leptonic $B$ decays are powerful probes to search for physics beyond the Standard Model (SM) as they can be calculated in the SM with high precision. We report recent results on rare $B$ decays with leptons from the Belle experiment at the KEKB $e^+e^−$ collider.

Constraining the CKM parameters usingCPviolation in semileptonicBdecays [PDF]
We discuss the usefulness of the CP violating semi-leptonic asymmetry a_{SL} not only as a signal of new physics, but also as a tool in constraining the CKM parameters. We show that this technique could yield useful results in the first years of running at the B factories.

We have extracted the ratio |V ub |/|V cb | from a combined study of the available inputs on B ¯ → π ρ ω ℓ − ν ¯ ℓ $$ \overline{B}\to \left(\pi, \rho, \omega \right){\ell}^{-}{\overline{\nu}}_{\ell } $$ and B ¯ B ¯ s → D ∗ D s ∗ ℓ − ν ¯ ℓ ℓ = μ or e ...

Quaternionic Electroweak Theory and CKM Matrix [PDF]
We find in our quaternionic version of the electroweak theory an apparently hopeless problem: In going from complex to quaternions, the calculation of the real-valued parameters of the CKM matrix drastically changes.

A Determination of the CKM Parameter |Vus|
We present a determination of the CKM parameter |Vus| based on new measurements of the six largest KL branching fractions and semileptonic form factors by the KTeV (E832) experiment at Fermilab. We find |Vus| = 0.2252 +- 0.0008(KTeV) +- 0.0021(ext), where the errors are from KTeV measurements and from external sources.

331 model predictions for rare B and K decays, and ∆F = 2 processes: an update
Motivated by the improved results from the HPQCD lattice collaboration on the hadronic matrix elements entering ∆M s,d in B s , d 0 − B ¯ s , d 0 $$ {B}_{s,d}^0-{\overline{B}}_{s,d}^0 $$ mixings and the increase of the experimental branching ratio for B ...

As a continuation of a previous research work carried out to estimate the Bond work index (wi) by using a simulator based on the cumulative kinetic model (CKM), a deeper analysis was carried out to determine the link between the kinetic and energy ...

Parametrization of PMNS matrix based on dodeca-symmetry
The dodeca symmetry is designed to obtain the Cabibbo angle $\theta_C^{\rm CKM}$ approximately $15^{\rm o}$ and the (11) element of $\Vp$ as $\cos 30^{\rm o}$, leading to $\theta_1^{\rm PMNS}+\theta_C^{\rm CKM}\simeq 45^{\rm o}$.

Spatially controlled sulfonated metal–organic polyhedra (SMOP) coating on sulfur‐loaded hollow carbon spheres form ultrathin, conformal interfacial barriers that selectively confine soluble polysulfides, stabilize sulfur redox, and suppress shuttle reactions.
