Amphoteric Cu‐Doping Leading to High Thermoelectric Performance in p‐Type Bismuth Antimony Telluride

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study shows that Cu plays two opposite roles in p‐type Bi0.5Sb1.5Te3 depending on the processing route. Under thermodynamic‐equilibrium bulk‐synthesis, Cu mainly occupies cation sites, increases hole concentration, preserves mobility, and slightly reduces lattice heat transport. The best‐performing composition among the investigated series reaches

Creditors’ claims in bankruptcy proceedings - issues and concerns

open access: yesEkonomski Vjesnik, 2013
A generally accepted rule in the bankruptcy law is that a bankruptcy creditor can file a claim against the debtor only in bankruptcy proceedings. This rule has a legal effect.

An Unhealthy Start: The Nutritional Composition, Processing, and on‐Pack Claims of Commercial Foods for Infants and Toddlers in Thailand

open access: yesMaternal and Child Nutrition
Nutrition during the first 1000 days of life is vital for fostering child health. Commercial foods for infants and toddlers are now increasingly prevalent, yet their nutritional quality and insufficiently regulated marketing are a global concern.

Development of an algorithm to identify small cell lung cancer patients in claims databases

open access: yesFrontiers in Oncology
IntroductionThe treatment landscape of small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is evolving. Evidence generated from administrative claims is needed to characterize real-world SCLC patients. However, the current ICD-10 coding system cannot distinguish SCLC from non-

Nitride MXenes Beyond Carbides: Bridging the Gap Between Computational Prediction and Experimental Realization

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Nitride MXenes remain constrained by a persistent gap between computational prediction and experimental realization. This Review identifies the thermodynamic, kinetic, and chemical barriers limiting their synthesis, critically evaluates emerging fabrication routes, and proposes a multidimensional computational‐experimental framework to accelerate the ...

Out‐of‐Plane Strain‐Decoupled Architecture for High‐Fill‐Factor Stretchable OLED Displays

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A vertically decoupled multilayer SOLED architecture separates emissive pixel islands from deformable interconnects, allowing low‐modulus elastomeric layers to accommodate applied strain and suppress strain transfer to the OLED region. This design, combined with transparent hybrid encapsulation, enables a high fill factor (∼75%), stretchability ...

Engineering a Fluorinated AlPO4 Interface: Toward High Initial Coulombic Efficiency and Stable Oxygen Redox in Li‐Rich Layered Oxide Cathodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We report a chemically incorporated fluorinated AlPO4 (AlPO4‐F) architecture that functions as a multifunctional “interfacial fortress” for Li‐rich layered oxides (LLOs). By modulating the surface potential to –32.16 mV, this architecture enriches Li+ concentration and repels detrimental electrolyte anions.

Silicone Breast Implants as a Model System for Understanding Polymer Permeation in Soft Materials In Vivo

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Silicone breast implants are presented as a model system for understanding polymer permeation in vivo. Rather than representing material failure, “gel bleed” emerges from solution–diffusion transport‐mediated. By integrating polymer architecture, physicochemical transport, and biointerfacial processes, this review provides a unified framework that ...
