Objective Foot orthoses are thought to improve pain by potentially modifying internal mechanical forces. To test this, we explored whether foot orthoses can modify patterns of bone marrow lesions (BMLs) in people with midfoot pain. Methods Forty‐two people were recruited with midfoot pain, and magnetic resonance imaging–confirmed midfoot BMLs ...

Diffusion‐Weighted Imaging for the Evaluation of the Sacroiliac Joint in Pediatric Patients
Background Maturational signal in the sacroiliac joint (SIJ) of skeletally immature youth is often misinterpreted as inflammation. Diagnostic tools that improve specificity are greatly needed. Apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values from diffusion‐weighted imaging (DWI), when used with standard imaging, may enhance diagnostic accuracy.

Metabelian local class field theory
The paper is a continuation of the first author's paper [Proc. 2nd Gauss Symp., Symposia Gaussiana, 287-300 (1995; Zbl 0851.11066)]. A new tool which comes into play is \textit{R. F. Coleman}'s power series [Invent. Math. 124, No. 1-3, 215-241 (1966; Zbl 0851.11030)]. Let \(K\) be a local field with finite residue field \(k\).

Beyond Inflammation: Why Understanding the Brain Matters in Inflammatory Arthritis
Persistent pain remains a major challenge in inflammatory arthritis, even when joint inflammation is well controlled. Pain and associated symptoms such as fatigue cannot be explained by peripheral inflammation alone but reflect altered central pain processing. These changes may arise through “top‐down” mechanisms, reflecting pre‐existing dysfunction in

Neukirch has developed explicit and axiomatic class field theory, which applies to both local and global fields. One of the key ingredients in his theory is a $\hat{\mathbb{Z}}$-extension of the base field, and in the case of $\mathbb{Q}_p$, he uses the maximal unramified extension. However $\mathbb{Q}_p$ has another $\hat{\mathbb{Z}}$-extension, which

Laser Metal Deposited Ti4822 Hollow Pipe: Experimental and Computational Modelling Study
Laser metal deposition (LMD) of a crack‐free built Ti4822 alloys is challenging. This article reports outstanding characteristics of a hollow pipe that is built with LMD technology when a predicted, nontransformation substrate temperature of 800 °C is used.
