Decoding the dynamic extracellular matrix in cancer—3D models and bioscaffolds rewire the rules of tumor progression

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cancer progression is regulated by the dynamic matrix code of the tumor microenvironment, which influences cellular behavior and disease development. Importantly, matrix remodeling in three‐dimensional cancer models more accurately reflects in vivo conditions compared to conventional two‐dimensional systems.

On Commutative Association Scheme with Class 2

open access: yes, 1995
P(論文)"Let F be finite filed. Let p be the number of F. Let p be odd prime. We define the assocation scheme with class 2 on F. We compute the eigenvalue, the multiplicity, and the valency of this assciation scheme.

Processes of middle-class reproduction in a graduate employment scheme [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Teach First is an educational charity that places graduates to teach in 'challenging' schools for two years. It is marketed as an opportunity to develop employability while 'making a difference'. In this paper, I examine the process of class reproduction

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Segre classes of monomial schemes

open access: yesElectronic Research Announcements in Mathematical Sciences, 2013
We propose an explicit formula for the Segre classes of monomial subschemes of nonsingular varieties, such as schemes defined by monomial ideals in projective space. The Segre class is expressed as a formal integral on a region bounded by the corresponding Newton polyhedron.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

An iterative scheme for a class of quasi variational inequalities

open access: yes, 1985
An iterative scheme is given to obtain the approximate solution of a class of quasi variational inequalities. It is shown that the approximate solution obtained by the iterative scheme converges strongly in the Hilbert space to the exact solution.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

A Hierarchical Key Assignment Scheme: A Unified Approach for Scalability and Efficiency

open access: yesIEEE Access
This study introduces a hierarchical key assignment scheme (HKAS) based on the closest vector problem in an inner product space (CVP-IPS). The proposed scheme offers a comprehensive solution with scalability, flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and high ...
