The paper studies the problem of invertibility of recursive operators which map \({\mathcal F}\) to \({\mathcal F}\), where \({\mathcal F}\) is a class of functions. Four increasingly stronger types of invertibility are introduced and it is shown that they are different.

Abstract Homogeneous normalized random measures with independent increments represent a broad class of Bayesian nonparametric priors and thus are widely used. In this article, we obtain the strong law of large numbers, the central limit theorem (CLT), and the functional central limit theorem (fCLT) of such measures when the concentration parameter a ...

We show that the BMS-supertranslations and their associated supermomenta on past null infinity can be related to those on future null infinity, proving the conjecture of Strominger for a class of spacetimes which are asymptotically-flat in the sense of ...

Bayes Class and Wald Class [PDF]
In this paper we shall study relations among the class B of the Bayes solutions in the strict sense, the class W of the Bayes solutions in the wide sense and the closure c(B), in a certain sense, of the class B. For abbreviation, we shall use the word “Bayes class” for the class B and “Wald class” for the class W.

Brazil's Cerrado valley wetlands—swamp savanna and gallery forest—are highly important for the biome's water cycle and carbon storage and are susceptible to degradation from the impacts of land use expansion and the climate crisis. In support of their detailed monitoring and assessment, we developed and tested a transferable mapping approach that ...

Electric Field Enhancements and Hot Spots in Amorphous Carbon Materials
Amorphous carbon (a‐C) represents a broad and technologically relevant class of carbonaceous materials whose rich morphological diversity, characterized by nanoporosity and defective networks, endows them with unique electrical, chemical, and optical ...
