The investigation of quantum–classical correspondence may lead to gaining a deeper understanding of the classical limit of quantum theory. I have developed a quantum formalism on the basis of a linear invariant theorem, which gives an exact quantum ...

Classical-quantum correspondence for fields [PDF]
We map the quantum problem of a free bosonic field in a space-time dependent background into a classical problem. $N$ degrees of freedom of a real field in the quantum theory are mapped into $2N^2$ classical simple harmonic oscillators with specific initial conditions.

Correspondence between classical and quantum resonances
Bifurcations take place in molecular Hamiltonian nonlinear systems as the excitation energy increases, leading to the appearance of different classical resonances. In this paper, we study the quantum manifestations of these classical resonances in the isomerizing system CN-Li⇆Li-CN. By using a correlation diagram of eigenenergies versus Planck constant,

Higher rank quantum-classical correspondence
For a compact Riemannian locally symmetric space $Γ\backslash G/K$ of arbitrary rank we determine the location of certain Ruelle-Taylor resonances for the Weyl chamber action. We provide a Weyl-lower bound on an appropriate counting function for the Ruelle-Taylor resonances and establish a spectral gap which is uniform in $Γ$ if $G/K$ is irreducible of

JIMWLK evolution, Lindblad equation and quantum-classical correspondence
In the Color Glass Condensate (CGC) effective theory, the physics of valence gluons with large longitudinal momentum is reflected in the distribution of color charges in the transverse plane.

Inflationary quantum dynamics and backreaction using a classical-quantum correspondence
We study inflationary dynamics using a recently introduced classical-quantum correspondence for investigating the backreaction of a quantum mechanical degree of freedom to a classical background. Using specifically a coupled Einstein–Klein–Gordon system,

Quantum-Classical Correspondence in Response Theory [PDF]
The correspondence principle between the quantum commutator [A, B] and the classical Poisson brackets iota h{A, B} is examined in the context of response theory. The classical response function is obtained as the leading term of the expansion of the phase space representation of the response function in terms of Weyl-Wigner transformations and is shown

Classical-quantum correspondence and Hawking radiation [PDF]
A recently discovered classical-quantum correspondence (CQC) maps certain quantum problems to corresponding classical problems. We illustrate the CQC for a quantum scalar field in the gravitational background of a collapsing spherical shell. By truncating the problem to a small set of variables, we show how the CQC can yield Hawking radiation as well ...
