Ehrenfest breakdown of the mean-field dynamics of Bose gases
The mean-field dynamics of a Bose gas is shown to break down at time $\tau_h = (c_1/\gamma) \ln N$ where $\gamma$ is the Lyapunov exponent of the mean-field theory, $N$ is the number of bosons, and $c_1$ is a system-dependent constant. The breakdown time

Classical-quantum correspondence for conservative chaotic Hamiltonians is investigated in terms of the structure of the eigenfunctions and the local density of states, using as a model a 2D rippled billiard in the regime of global chaos. The influence of

Correspondences between classical, intuitionistic and uniform provability
Based on an analysis of the inference rules used, we provide a characterization of the situations in which classical provability entails intuitionistic provability. We then examine the relationship of these derivability notions to uniform provability, a restriction of intuitionistic provability that embodies a special form of goal-directedness.

Quantum tunneling as a classical anomaly
Classical mechanics is a singular theory in that real-energy classical particles can never enter classically forbidden regions. However, if one regulates classical mechanics by allowing the energy E of a particle to be complex, the particle exhibits ...

Geometric entropies and their Hamiltonian flows
In holographic theories, the Hubeny-Rangamani-Takayanagi (HRT) area operator plays a key role in our understanding of the emergence of semiclassical Einstein-Hilbert gravity.

Relativistic Spinning Particle without Grassmann Variables and the Dirac Equation
We present the relativistic particle model without Grassmann variables which, being canonically quantized, leads to the Dirac equation. Classical dynamics of the model is in correspondence with the dynamics of mean values of the corresponding operators ...

Le blog intime au croisement des genres de l’écriture de soi
If we consider the use of the Internet and the practice of writing, weblogs have followed personal websites. In this paper, we examine the way by wich those electronic writing practices have inherited some discursive and morphological forms from ...

Classical conformal blocks and accessory parameters from isomonodromic deformations
Classical conformal blocks appear in the large central charge limit of 2D Virasoro conformal blocks. In the AdS3 /CFT2 correspondence, they are related to classical bulk actions and used to calculate entanglement entropy and geodesic lengths.
