Single-Cell Transcriptome Profiling Reveals Conserved IFNγ-IL8 Signaling-Induced Antibacterial Neutrophil States during Bacterial Infection. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Sci (Weinh)
SummaryThis study constructs a single‐cell immune atlas of Nile tilapia across multiple time points during Streptococcus agalactiae infection, revealing dynamic immune cell responses and subtype transitions. It identifies a conserved IFNr‐STAT1‐IL8 axis driving il8+ neutrophils activation and antibacterial function, supported by cross‐species ...

Genome-Wide 5-Methylcytosine and 5-Hydroxymethylcytosine Signatures Analysis of Plasma Cell-Free DNA in Schizophrenia. [PDF]

open access: yesMedComm (2020)
We performed cfDNA 5‐methylcytosine (5mC) and 5‐hydroxymethylcytosine (5hmC) sequencing of plasma samples from 66 individuals with SCZ and 77 healthy controls (HC). We identified differentially 5mC methylated regions (DMRs) and differentially 5hmC hydroxymethylated regions (DhMRs) that showed distinct patterns between SCZ and control samples.

Zeros of hypergeometric functions in the p-adic setting [PDF]

open access: yesThe Ramanujan journal, 2020
McCarthy (Pac J Math 261(1):219–236, 2013) defined hypergeometric functions in the p-adic setting over finite fields using p-adic gamma functions. These functions possess many properties that are analogous to classical hypergeometric type identities.

One-dimensional pseudoharmonic oscillator: classical remarks and quantum-information theory [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics Communications, 2023
Motion along semi-infinite straight line in a potential that is a combination of positive quadratic and inverse quadratic functions of the position is considered with the emphasis on the analysis of its quantum-information properties.

Summations and transformations for very well-poised hypergeometric functions 2q+5F2q+4(1) and 2q+7F2q+6(1) with arbitrary integral parameter differences

open access: yesMiskolc Mathematical Notes, 2022
The present paper aims to derive summation and transformation formulae for the generalized very well-poised hypergeometric functions 2q+5F2q+4(1) and 2q+7F2q+6(1) having arbitrary integral parameter differences. These results are derived with the help of

Expansion of some well-known functions and classical polynomials in series of the generalized Laguerre polynomials.1

open access: yesLibyan Journal of Science &Technology, 2022
The generalized Laguerre polynomials form a complete set (orthogonal and normalized) in the space ** with respect to a certain weighting function because they are the Eigen functions of a second-order differential operator.

Hypoglycemia Induces Diabetic Macrovascular Endothelial Dysfunction via Endothelial Cell PANoptosis, Macrophage Polarization, and VSMC Fibrosis. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Sci (Weinh)
This study investigates hypoglycemia‐induced diabetic macrovascular endothelial dysfunction. It reveals that hypoglycemia triggers ZBP1‐dependent PANoptosis of endothelial cells, proinflammatory polarization of macrophages, and fibrosis of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) in diabetic mice.

Study on new integral operators defined using confluent hypergeometric function

open access: yesAdvances in Differential Equations, 2021
Two new integral operators are defined in this paper using the classical Bernardi and Libera integral operators and the confluent (or Kummer) hypergeometric function.

Coordinated Transcriptomic and Epigenetic Approach Reveals Molecular Features Underlying Natural Mating Ability in Captive Male Giant Pandas. [PDF]

open access: yesEcol Evol
We investigated the molecular mechanisms underlying natural mating ability in captive male giant pandas using integrated transcriptomic and DNA methylation analyses. Our findings highlight key gene expression and epigenetic differences associated with reproductive behavior, offering novel insights for optimizing captive breeding and conservation ...
