Light-cone spreading of perturbations and the butterfly effect in a classical spin chain
We find that localised perturbations in a chaotic classical many-body system-- the classical Heisenberg We find that the effects of a localised perturbation in a chaotic classical many-body system--the classical Heisenberg chain at infinite temperature ...

Integration of circadian and hypoxia signaling via non‐canonical heterodimerization
CLOCK, BMAL1, and HIFs are basic helix‐loop‐helix and Per‐Arnt‐Sim domain (bHLH‐PAS) proteins, which function as transcription factors. bHLH‐PAS proteins are designated in two classes. Many class I proteins are regulated by environmental signals via their PAS domains, but such signals have not been identified for all.

Driven coupled Morse oscillators --- visualizing the phase space and characterizing the transport
Recent experimental and theoretical studies indicate that intramolecular energy redistribution (IVR) is nonstatistical on intermediate timescales even in fairly large molecules.

Mechanisms of parasite‐mediated disruption of brain vessels
Parasites can affect the blood vessels of the brain, often causing serious neurological problems. This review explains how different parasites interact with and disrupt these vessels, what this means for brain health, and why these processes matter. Understanding these mechanisms may help us develop better ways to prevent or treat brain infections in ...

Playing is connected at a deep level to how we learn, participate in and create culture, as it is dynamic, complex and even unpredictable just as learning is (Reinhardt, 2019). Even Plato in his Theaetetus recognises the importance of such a component in

Generalized event structures and probabilities
For the classical mind, quantum mechanics is boggling enough; nevertheless more bizarre behavior could be imagined, thereby concentrating on propositional structures (empirical logics) that transcend the quantum domain.

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Spin Glass-like Phase below ~ 210 K in Magnetoelectric Gallium Ferrite
In this letter we show the presence of a spin-glass like phase in single crystals of magnetoelectric gallium ferrite (GaFeO3) below ~210 K via temperature dependent ac and dc magnetization studies.

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...
