HARPS spectropolarimetry of classical T Tauri stars
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2012We present high spectral resolution Stokes V polarimetery of the Classical T Tauri stars (CTTSs) GQ Lup and TW Hya obtained with the polarimetric upgrade to the HARPS spectrometer on the ESO 3.6 m telescope. We present data on both photospheric lines and emission lines, concentrating our discussion on the polarization properties of the He I emission ...

Spectropolarimetry of Magnetospheric Accretion on the Classical T Tauri Star BP Tauri
The Astrophysical Journal, 1999High-resolution (R ≈ 60,000) circular spectropolarimetry of the classical T Tauri star BP Tauri is presented. No net polarization is detected in photospheric absorption lines, placing strong limits (3 σ) on the mean longitudinal magnetic field (±200 G) that is present over the surface of the star.

Forbidden Emission Lines in the Winds of Classical T Tauri Stars
1996We present a model for the origin of the forbidden emission lines (FELs), especially [OI]λλ 6300, 6363 and [SII]λλ 6716, 6731, which are observed in the winds of classical T Tauri stars (CTTSs). This model is based on numerical calculations of the wind structure so that for the first time a physically motivated scenario of the FEL formation is given ...
