META-CLASSICAL NON-CLASSICAL LOGICS
The Review of Symbolic LogicAbstractRecently, it has been proposed to understand a logic as containing not only a validity canon for inferences but also a validity canon for metainferences of any finite level. Then, it has been shown that it is possible to construct infinite hierarchies of ‘increasingly classical’ logics—that is, logics that are classical at the level of ...

Dr. Croone told me, that at the meeting of Gresham College tonight, which it seems they now have every Wednesday, there was a pretty experiment of the blood of one dog let out till he died, into the body of another on one side, while all his own run out on the other side.

A significant advantage of Pichia pastoris as an experimental system is the ability to readily bring to bear both classical and molecular genetic approaches to a research problem. Although the advent of yeast molecular genetics has introduced new and exciting capabilities, classical genetics remains the approach of choice in many instances.

Cadherins represent a gene family of Ca(2+)-dependent cell adhesion molecules (CAMs) identified during development and in adult organs. They generally mediate cell-cell adhesion by homotypic interaction, although heterotypic binding between different cadherin molecules is possible.

We review some essential aspects of classically integrable systems. The detailed outline of the lectures consists of 1. Introduction and motivation, with historical remarks; 2. Liouville theorem and action-angle variables, with examples (harmonic oscillator, Kepler problem); 3.
