Classification of modern garden rose groups depending on their practical use

open access: yesІнтродукція Рослин, 2004
On the basis of analysis of garden rose existing classifications the unified scheme that is more close to the modern practice is suggested.

A Classification of 6R Manipulators [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2006
This paper presents a classification of generic 6-revolute jointed (6R) manipulators using homotopy class of their critical point manifold. A part of classification is listed in this paper because of the complexity of homotopy class of 4-torus.

Sparse classification boundaries [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Given a training sample of size $m$ from a $d$-dimensional population, we wish to allocate a new observation $Z\in \R^d$ to this population or to the noise.

Circulating tumor cells in metastatic breast cancer patients treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors – a biomarker analysis of the ALICE and ICON trials

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative biomarker analysis, we assessed serial sampling of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) with CellSearch in two randomized trials testing immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in metastatic breast cancer. Our data demonstrate a prognostic potential of CTCs, most apparent 4 weeks into ICI therapy.

TV-SVM: Total Variation Support Vector Machine for Semi-Supervised Data Classification [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2012
We introduce semi-supervised data classification algorithms based on total variation (TV), Reproducing Kernel Hilbert Space (RKHS), support vector machine (SVM), Cheeger cut, labeled and unlabeled data points. We design binary and multi-class semi-supervised classification algorithms.

Unveiling a spinor field classification with non-Abelian gauge symmetries

open access: yes, 2017
A spinor fields classification with non-Abelian gauge symmetries is introduced, generalizing the the U(1) gauge symmetries-based Lounesto's classification. Here, a more general classification, contrary to the Lounesto's one, encompasses spinor multiplets,

Circulating tumor cells: advancing personalized therapy in small cell lung cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is an aggressive form of lung cancer that spreads rapidly to secondary sites such as the brain and liver. Cancer cells circulating in the blood, “circulating tumor cells” (CTCs), have demonstrated prognostic value in SCLC, and evaluating biomarkers on CTCs could guide treatment decisions such as for PARP inhibitors ...

On classification of Lie algebra realizations [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2017
We study realizations of Lie algebras by vector fields. A correspondence between classification of transitive local realizations and classification of subalgebras is generalized to the case of regular local realizations. A reasonable classification problem for general realizations is rigorously formulated and an algorithm for construction of such ...

Feature Selection for MAUC-Oriented Classification Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Feature selection is an important pre-processing step for many pattern classification tasks. Traditionally, feature selection methods are designed to obtain a feature subset that can lead to high classification accuracy. However, classification accuracy has recently been shown to be an inappropriate performance metric of classification systems in many ...

Cell‐free and extracellular vesicle microRNAs with clinical utility for solid tumors

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cell‐free microRNAs (cfmiRs) are small‐RNA circulating molecules detectable in almost all body biofluids. Innovative technologies have improved the application of cfmiRs to oncology, with a focus on clinical needs for different solid tumors, but with emphasis on diagnosis, prognosis, cancer recurrence, as well as treatment monitoring.
