Research Progress on the Posterior Midline Lumbar Spinous Process‐Splitting Approach

open access: yesOrthopaedic Surgery, Volume 17, Issue 4, Page 990-998, April 2025.

Clinical and Radiological Comparison of Unilateral Biportal Endoscopic and Percutaneous Transforaminal Endoscopic Discectomy in the Treatment of Lumbar Spinal Degenerative Disease

open access: yesOrthopaedic Surgery, Volume 17, Issue 4, Page 1105-1113, April 2025.
Both PTED and UBE surgeries can achieve satisfactory improvement in symptoms and function for patients with lumbar spinal degenerative disease. However, UBE technique can achieve a better decompression area to restore the normal shape of the dural sac but may lead to greater paraspinal muscle damage and atrophy.

Iliac branch endoprosthesis for endovascular treatment of complex aorto‐iliac aneurysms – from device design to practical experience: how to translate physiology considerations into clinical applications

open access: yesExperimental Physiology, Volume 110, Issue 4, Page 543-549, 1 April 2025.
Abstract This article provides a narrative review of the current literature and our expert opinion concerning the iliac branch endoprosthesis (IBE) and its use in the treatment of complex abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) cases with concomitant aneurysmal involvement of the common iliac artery (CIA) and/or the internal iliac artery (IIA).
