Caxton's Afterlife in Manuscript (c.1475‐c.1500)
Abstract At least thirty‐five manuscript copies of Caxton's prints have been found so far. This article explores the implications of such manuscript copies of Caxton's prints and, interrupting the linear history of the book, considers Caxton's appeal beyond print in manuscript.

What's new? Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) are promising prognostic biomarkers for cancer. CTCs are sometimes very sparse; however, they present technical challenges for their enrichment from whole blood. Here, the authors tested the CTC enrichment capacity of a new nickel‐based filtration membrane and compared its efficacy to that of an FDA‐approved ...

Autonomous Dynamics in Neural networks: The dHAN Concept and Associative Thought Processes
The neural activity of the human brain is dominated by self-sustained activities. External sensory stimuli influence this autonomous activity but they do not drive the brain directly.

Anthropogenic Infrastructures Shape Brown Bear Movements in Human‐Modified Landscapes
Human activities are major drivers of changes in animal behaviour, resulting in diverse spatial and temporal activity patterns across species. In this study, we analysed telemetry data from brown bears in Finland, Slovakia and Romania, to compare how human infrastructure influences their movement behaviour.

We present an efficient way to compute diagonal and off-diagonal n-point correlation functions for quantum spin-systems within the loop algorithm. We show that the general rules for the evaluation of these correlation functions take an especially simple ...

The widower is, by contrast, an anachronistic category.

Time-dependent study of disordered models with infinite projected entangled pair states
Infinite projected entangled pair states (iPEPS), the tensor network ansatz for two-dimensional systems in the thermodynamic limit, already provide excellent results on ground-state quantities using either imaginary-time evolution or variational ...
