OCCURRENCE AND RISK FACTORS OFDIGITAL DERMATITIS IN EGYPTIAN DAIRIES
In the present study, the prevalence of digital dermatitis (DD) and the related risk factors in dairy cows was investigated. For 12 months, information about the establishment of DD lesions and other claw disorders in dairy cows was collected.

Crater Observing Bioinspired Rolling Articulator (COBRA)
Crater Observing Bio‐inspired Rolling Articulator (COBRA) is a modular, snake‐inspired robot that addresses the mobility challenges of extraterrestrial exploration sites such as Shackleton Crater. Incorporating snake‐like gaits and tumbling locomotion, COBRA navigates both uneven surfaces and steep crater walls.

Escaping Constraints to Innovate: Maternal Neofunctionalization in a HoxB4 Duplicate
Whole‐genome duplication in Xenopus laevis generated duplicated Hox genes that are largely constrained in sequence and developmental expression. However, HoxB4L uniquely acquired maternal expression through cis‐regulatory and protein structural divergence, illustrating how gene duplication enables transcription factors to escape pleiotropic constraints

ABSTRACT Monkeypox is a reemerging zoonotic disease that has been spreading worldwide. Different approaches are being conducted to find effective treatments for this disease. To accelerate therapeutic discovery, we propose telomere‐binding protein (TBP) as a potential drug target because of its important role during virus maturation.

Children's Embodiment of Non‐Human Virtual Hand Forms
ABSTRACT Adults are known to identify their own body through a combination of multisensory cues and top‐down expectations regarding its form, while children may possess a more flexible body representation. Here we use virtual reality to test how children and adults use form cues to feel ownership over a virtual hand with novel, varying degrees of ...

Lypsylehmien sorkkasairauksien perinnölliset tunnusluvut [PDF]
Sorkkasairaudet ovat kasvava ongelma lypsykarjatiloilla. Sorkka- ja jalkaviat aiheuttavat ennenaikaisten poistojen lisäksi taloudellisia tappioita alentamalla maitotuotosta ja lisäämällä eläinlääkintä- ja sorkkahoitokuluja.

Tracking Tool for Fiddler Crabs in Natural Settings to Promote a Model Organism for Synchrony
We introduce an easy‐to‐use and open source tracking algorithm that detects claw waves in field video recordings and preserves IDs over time to advance the widely found fiddler crabs as a model organism for collective synchronization. This software translates video observations into actionable data to advance the study of synchronization beyond theory.
