Record cleaning mechanism

The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1984
A cleaning mechanism for phonograph disc records includes a probe, and preferably a pluarality of probes arranged in line abreast relative to the direction of record rotation, for engagement within the record groove to remove particulate matter entrained therein.

The clean development mechanism

The Clean Development Mechanism is one of three flexible mechanisms included in the Kyoto Protocol. It enables Annex I countries to finance emission reductions in developing (non-Annex I) countries and use the credits thus obtained to meet their quantified emission reduction commitments under the Kyoto Protocol.

The Clean Development Mechanism: Making It Operational

Environment, Development and Sustainability, 2004
The Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) is a facility for trading ‘certified emission reductions (CERs) between developing and developed countries, thus saving non-renewable carbon emissions by promoting renewable energy, energy efficiency and/or carbon sequestration projects in LDC’s.

“Verso” laser cleaning of mechanically thin films

Applied Surface Science, 2003
Abstract In usual dry laser cleaning of opaque samples, short laser pulses are projected onto the sample surface to be cleaned. Energy transferred from light ejects extraneous particles away from the surface. Laser beam fluence is limited by the damage reached by high temperature that the sample surface can produce.

The Clean Development Mechanism

2012
This chapter is dedicated to the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), and more particularly to the secondary Certified Emissions Reductions (CER) originated under these project mechanisms. Indeed, secondary CERs are valid for compliance within the European trading system up to 13.4% on average.
