Benzo[c][1,2,5]Thiadiazole Linkers Enhance the Effectiveness of Cavity‐Containing Supramolecular Photocatalysts

Seven novel supramolecular photosensitizers based on benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole (BTZ) tethered to calix[4]arene (C[4]) scaffolds are reported with facile, scalable, and selective syntheses. Their abilities to produce singlet oxygen have been tested through the photo‐oxidation of α‐terpinene.
