Selecting Clear Script Equivalents for Tibetan Buddhist Terms: a Case Study of Tyugmyud Gavji’s Translation of ‘The Sea of Parables’

open access: yesМонголоведение (Монгол судлал), 2019
The paper addresses the problem of studying the vocabulary of translated written Oirat-language monuments in comparison to their Tibetan-language originals. It briefly describes the lexicographic works based on materials from ancient Buddhist sources and available to modern Oiratologists. In addition, it examines some issues of studying the language of

Salmonella lipopolysaccharide‐containing supported lipid bilayers as platforms to study bacteriophage interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Sul cambiamento di stile nella scrittura onciale

open access: yesAnnali Online dell'Università di Ferrara. Sezione Lettere, 2015
This work aim to explain the developments, still not so clear, that led to the transition from the so-called uncial old-style to an uncial new-style. Trought an attentive paleografical analysis the author tries to inquire not only times and causes, but ...

Christian improvisation

open access: yesScandinavian Journal for Leadership & Theology, 2023
My thesis in this article is that Christian improvisation is a helpful way to understand the practice of Christian leadership ethics. We sometimes find ourselves in ethical situations with no clear script or guideline to prescribe actions. In such cases,
