We evaluated the efficiency of a minimal sampling approach for DNA metabarcoding and developed a novel single‐amplicon workflow. Using fecal DNA, we identified vertebrate prey and characterized spatio‐temporal variation in the diet of the endangered dhole (also known as Asiatic wild dog, Cuon alpinus) in central India.

In this study, a total of 137 medium‐sized Channa punctata (17.5 ± 2.5 cm) were collected from different locations of Jamalpur and Netrokona district, Bangladesh and microscopically identified as belonging to the genus Eustrongylides based on morphological characteristics.
