AlphaEarth Climate Monitoring System: High-Resolution Climate Monitoring with Foundation Models
This paper introduces the AlphaEarth Climate Monitoring System, a high-resolution framework for climate and environmental monitoring built on DeepMind’s AlphaEarth foundation model. The system integrates multi-modal Earth observation data including Sentinel-2 optical imagery, Sentinel-1 radar, LiDAR, and ERA5 climate reanalysis to generate compact 64 ...

Neighborhood Socioeconomic Status and Short‐Term Functional Outcomes in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
Objective Individuals with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) can accumulate functional status (FS) impairment. We evaluated the association between neighborhood socioeconomic disadvantage, as measured by the Area Deprivation Index (ADI), and FS in a national SLE sample.

Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.

Solvate ionic liquids lubrication reduced the coefficient of friction by ∼60% compared to dry sliding, reaching steady‐state values as low as 0.04–0.05. Corrosion weight‐loss measurements in 1 M HCl further demonstrated significant inhibition behavior, with only 100 ppm of [Li(G3)][TFSI] (∼68.5 μL/L) reducing corrosion‐product weight loss by 63 ...

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.
