Clinical studies on desaminooxytocin
American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1967Abstract The double oxytocin test was performed on pregnant women in the last 2 weeks before delivery. In 234 cases the test was performed only with synthetic oxytocin; in 109 cases one phase of the test was performed with desaminooxytocin. Hypochondriasis: A Clinical Study
British Journal of Psychiatry, 1964IntroductionThe concept of hypochondriasis, and particularly its nosological position, is far from clear, and there is still a great deal of controversy as to whether or not there exists a condition of primary or essential hypochondriasis. Many of the historical and theoretical ramifications are reviewed in another paper (Kenyon, 1964).

Recognizing that type 1 diabetes was characterized not only by insulin deficiency, but also by amylin deficiency, Cooper (Cooper, 1991) predicted that certain features of the disease could be related thereto, and he proposed amylin/insulin co-replacement therapy. Although the early physiological rationale was flawed, the idea that glucose control could

Urology, 1977
Sixty-five cases of hemospermia seen over a ten-year period were reviewed. No specific etiology was disclosed, although renal tuberculosis was seen in 11 per cent of cases, indicating that hemospermia is a self-limiting and benign condition which does not require full urologic investigation.

Immunogenic cell death in anticancer chemotherapy and its impact on clinical studies.
Cancer Letters, 2018The traditional view holds that apoptosis is non-immunogenic and does not induce an inflammatory response. However, recent studies have suggested that certain chemotherapeutic drugs that induce tumor cell apoptosis can induce immunogenic cell death (ICD)

Clinical Studies with Epothilones
2009As indicated in previous chapters, epothilone research so far has delivered seven new chemical entities that have been advanced to clinical trials in humans (Fig. 1). However, the amount of clinical data publicly available at this time strongly varies between individual compounds, depending on their development stage, but also on the general ...
