13세 여자 환아가 내원 4일전부터 시작된 목과 코 뒤쪽에 서 이동하는 이물감을 주소로 내원하였다. 내원 전 육회 및 숭어를 섭취한 적이 있다고 하였다. 외래에서 시행한 후두경상 비인두의 후측벽 점막에 검은 두 줄 무늬가 있는 투명한 빛 깔의 기생충이 움직이는 것을 확인하였다(Fig. 1). 외래에서 후두경 및 구강 접근으로 제거시도 하였으나 점막에 강하게 유착되어 있었고 환자가 나이가 어려서 전신마취하에 기생충 을 제거하기로 하고 당일 제거 수술을 진행하였다.

Clinostomum is a trematode genus in the family Clinostomidae. The mentioned trematode species is parasitizing many fish species as intermediate hosts, while piscivorous birds and mammals are the main definitive hosts.

A species of metacercariae recovered from the fresh-water fish, collected from Kaumji (Pond), Kaechonji (Pond) and Ssanggyechon (River). Uisong-gun, Kyongsangbuk-do, Korea, was identified as Clinostomum complanatum by morphological observation and experimental infection to chicks. Metacercarial Infection of Wild Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) from Brazil

Fingerlings of Oreochromis niloticus collected in an artificial urban lake from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, were evaluated for natural infection with trematodes. Morphological taxonomic identification of four fluke species was performed in O. niloticus examined, and the total prevalence of metacercariae was 60.7% (37/61).
