Micropropagation and clonal options in forestry

Micropropagation has been achieved in a number of woody plant species. That is only the beginning in the production process. Before clonal material is regenerated by tissue culture, it would be desirable to consult geneticists/ breeders for inclusion of pedigreed material in the program.
