Detection of Behavioural Clone

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computer Applications, 2014
level cloning in a system is the aggregation of four classes of high level similarities these four classes are behavioural Clones, concept clones, structural clones and domain model clones. Behavioural clones are used to depict similar run time behavior. This paper presents a method for the detection of behavioural clone.

Synergistic perspectives—How single‐molecule biophysics complement biochemical understanding

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this review, we discuss how ensemble biochemistry and single‐molecule approaches are complementary, outline commonly used single‐molecule techniques, and illustrate their relevance through two representative case studies: chromatin organization by SMC complexes and pathway choice during DNA double‐strand break repair.

Improving your test code with Wrangler [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
In this paper we show how the 'similar code' detection facilities of Wrangler, combined with its portfolio of refactorings, allow test code to be shrunk dramatically, under the guidance of the test engineer.

HYBRID TECHNIQUE FOR SOFTWARE CODE CLONE DETECTION

open access: yes, 2012
Software Clone detection is one of the hottest research area that helps in detecting duplicate code from an applications. The research has shown that 5% to 20% of software systems can contain duplicated code that is generated by simply copying the ...

Code Clone Detection Techniques Based on Large Language Models

open access: yesIEEE Access
Code duplication, commonly known as code cloning, is a persistent challenge in software development. While reusing code fragments boosts productivity, excessive cloning poses challenges to maintenance and elevates the risk of bugs. Therefore, integrating

Functional comparison of EncB and EncC cargo proteins in iron storage within the Myxococcus xanthus encapsulin

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Encapsulins are protein nanocompartments that play an important role in iron storage. In the Myxococcus xanthus encapsulin system, two cargo proteins called EncB and EncC contribute to iron mineralization. Here, we show that EncB and EncC generate iron‐containing minerals with distinct chemical compositions, suggesting that the composition of stored ...

Enhancing generic code clone detection model for C based application [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Code clone is a term used to describe a code used in a system repeatedly. There are currently four types of code clones, namely type-1, type-2, type-3 and type-4, which can be detected by some code clone detection tools. As far as the quality of a system

A Novel Method for Code Clone Detection Based on Minimally Random Kernel Convolutional Transform

open access: yesIEEE Access
Effectively detecting code clones is essential for maintaining and evolving software systems. This paper introduces a novel approach that leverages minimally random kernel convolutional transform (MiniRocket) to represent source code for clone detection.

Structural and biochemical analysis of a B12 superbinder

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
BtuG proteins are vitamin B12 scavengers in Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron, a dominant human gut bacterium. We present crystal structures of three BtuG homologs bound to cobalamin and its precursor cobinamide, revealing picomolar binding affinities, among the highest known for any natural protein.
