YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.

USING OF UNIVERSAL PLASMID CONSTRUCTIONS FOR DESIGN OF RECOMBINANT ANTIBODIES WITH DEFINED SPECIFICITY IN EUKARYOTIC CELLS

open access: yesЖурнал микробиологии, эпидемиологии и иммунобиологии, 2019
Aim. In this study we aimed to develop the methodology to change the antigen specificity of chimeric antibodies by replacing the variable region genes in the previously designed universal plasmid constructions pLK DT-17 and pHG DT-17 encoding the DT-17 ...

Minimal sets determining universal and phase-covariant quantum cloning

open access: yes, 2012
We study the minimal input sets which can determine completely the universal and the phase-covariant quantum cloning machines. We find that the universal quantum cloning machine, which can copy arbitrary input qubit equally well, however can be ...

Modeling hepatic fibrosis in TP53 knockout iPSC‐derived human liver organoids

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study developed iPSC‐derived human liver organoids with TP53 gene knockout to model human liver fibrosis. These organoids showed elevated myofibroblast activation, early disease markers, and advanced fibrotic hallmarks. The use of profibrotic differentiation medium further amplified the fibrotic signature seen in the organoids.

The Man-Simulacrum – the Human Future in Baudrillard’s Perspective

open access: yesПроблеми на постмодерността, 2017
The research studies Jean Baudrillard's conception about the merging of simulation and virtuality and its consequence on the notion and perception of man. It focuses on the duplicate-simulacrum of man that Baudrillard depicts in his works.

PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells enhances bortezomib sensitivity in multiple myeloma cells by altering their metabolism

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study investigated how PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) indirectly affects multiple myeloma (MM) cell metabolism and viability. Culturing MM cells in conditioned medium from PYCR1‐silenced BMSCs impaired oxidative phosphorylation and increased sensitivity to bortezomib.

Sequencing and Phylogenetic Analysis of Potato virus Y Liaoning Isolate in China

open access: yesJournal of Integrative Agriculture, 2013
Complete genome sequence of Potato virus Y Liaoning isolate (PVY-LN) causing tobacco vein necrosis symptoms were isolated from Liaoning Province in China. Genome sequences of PVY-LN was 9714 nucleotides in length, excluding the 3′-terminal poly (A) tail.

Experimental linear-optical implementation of a multifunctional optimal qubit cloner

open access: yes, 2012
We present the first experimental implementation of a multifunctional device for the optimal cloning of one to two qubits. Previous implementations have always been designed to optimize the cloning procedure with respect to one single type of a priori ...

In vitro properties of patient serum predict clinical outcome after high dose rate brachytherapy of hepatocellular carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Following high dose rate brachytherapy (HDR‐BT) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), patients were classified as responders and nonresponders. Post‐therapy serum induced increased BrdU incorporation and Cyclin E expression of Huh7 and HepG2 cells in nonresponders, but decreased levels in responders.
