On subclass of close-to-convex functions [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Contemporary Mathematical Sciences, 2007
In this paper the authors studied the coefficient estimate of a class of functions starlike with respect to k-symmetric points defined by derivative operators D n λ introduced by Al-Shaqsi and Darus [6]. The integral representation and several coefficient inequalities of functions belonging to this class are obtained.

Fibrous Pb(II)‐Based Coordination Polymer Operable as a Photocatalyst and Electrocatalyst for High‐Rate, Selective CO2‐to‐Formate Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A coordination polymer [Pb(tadt)]n prepared by a microwave‐assisted solvothermal method selectively reduces CO2 into formate under visible light with a high apparent quantum yield of ≈25% at 400 nm. It can function as a pre‐catalyst, along with conductive Ketjen Black, to form an active PbCO3/Pb3(CO3)2(OH)2 mixture that exhibits a high Faradaic ...

On a generalization of close-to-convex functions [PDF]

open access: yesAnnales Polonici Mathematici, 2015
A motivation comes from {\em M. Ismail and et al.: A generalization of starlike functions, Complex Variables Theory Appl., 14 (1990), 77--84} to study a generalization of close-to-convex functions by means of a $q$-analog of a difference operator acting on analytic functions in the unit disk $\mathbb{D}=\{z\in \mathbb{C}:\,|z|

Versatile Selective Soldering via Molten Metal Printing for Heat‐Sensitive 3D Electronics and Smart Wearables

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Selective soldering via molten metal printing enables component integration, even in heat‐sensitive applications across fields like additive manufacturing, sustainable electronics, and smart textiles. This method overcomes the temperature limitations of existing technologies.

Tunable Tactile Synapses Enabled by Erasable Doping in Iongel‐Gated Nanotube Network Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Artificial tactile synaptic sensors are realized by an iongel‐gated single‐walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) transistor with reversible doping characteristics. The device senses and memorizes tactile stimuli and exhibits gate bias‐dependent excitatory or inhibitory synaptic behavior.

Length problems for Bazilevič functions

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 2019
Let C(r) denote the curve which is image of the circle |z| = r < 1 under the mapping f . Let L(r) be the length of C(r) and A(r) the area enclosed by the curve C(r).

The Third Logarithmic Coefficient for Certain Close-to-Convex Functions

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2022
The logarithmic coefficients γn of a normalized analytic functions f are defined by log  fz/z=2∑n=1∞γnzn. For certain close-to-convex functions fz=z+a2z2+⋯, Cho et al. (on the third logarithmic coefficient in some subclasses of close-to-convex functions)

Tunable Thermoshrinkable Hydrogels for 4D Fabrication of Cell‐Seeded Channels

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A thermoresponsive polymer with methacrylate groups for photo‐cross‐linking, based on polyethylene glycol, N‐isopropylacrylamide, and 2‐hydroxyethyl acrylate is synthetized to yield hydrogels that shrink upon temperature increase. The new polymer enables the fabrication of cell‐laden perfusable channels with diameters below 200 µm by combining ...

Omnidirectional Transmissive Acoustic Metasurfaces Based on Goldberg Polyhedra

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces omnidirectional acoustic metasurfaces capable of manipulating wavefronts in multiple arbitrary directions simultaneously. A full‐stack pipeline for design, optimization, and fabrication is presented to construct near‐spherical holograms based on Goldberg polyhedra.

Some Growth and Distortion Theorems for Close-to-Convex Harmonic Functions in the Unit Disc [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
MSC 2010: 30C45, 30C55One of the most important questions in the study of the classes of such functions is related to bounds on the modulus of functions (growth) or modulus of the derivative (distortion).
