Results in Physics, 2021 We implement an efficient solver to achieve solutions for the perturbed nonlinear Schrödinger’s equation with Kerr law nonlinearity. This solver gives closed-form wave structures of the solutions. Namely, various kinds of solutions are achieved.

The results are exploited in order to prove analytically the comparative dynamics of the model. Results are derived for the so-called pure investment model, the pure consumption model and a combination of both types of models.

International Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2000 This paper is devoted to closed-form solutions of the partial differential equation: θxx+θyy+δexp(θ)=0, which arises in the steady state thermal explosion theory. We find simple exact solutions of the form θ(x,y)=Φ(F(x)+G(y)), and θ(x,y)=Φ(f(x+y)+g(x-y)).
