Overcoming the Phase Discontinuity Problem in RIS Optimization: A Robust and Scalable Phase‐Aware Deep Regression Framework via Hybrid CNN–LSTM Architecture

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
The phase discontinuity problem—where the cyclic nature of phase angles causes catastrophic errors near the ±π boundary—is a fundamental obstacle in learning‐based reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) optimization. A phase‐aware hybrid CNN–LSTM framework resolves this by decomposing phase predictions into sine–cosine components, mapping circular ...

Motion and Morphology Planning for Autonomous Manipulation in Clutter With a Shape‐Shifting, Variable‐Stiffness Robot

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
A hybrid mobile robot with a modular Variable‐Stiffness Bridge transitions between a rigid locomotion platform and a flexible, shape‐conforming body. By enclosing objects within its deformable structure rather than relying on dedicated end effectors, the robot achieves orientation‐regulated planar transport, with conformal contact quality shown to ...

Geodesics in the closed accelerating University

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Физика сериясы, 2017
The need to introduce in the current cosmological models, dark energy and dark matter raises the question of revision of the basic concepts of the structure of the Universe.

Morphological Analysis of Cells by Means of an Elastic Metric in the Shape Space

open access: yesImage Analysis and Stereology, 2020
Shape analysis is of great importance in many fields, such as computer vision, medical imaging, and computational biology. This analysis can be performed considering shapes as closed planar curves in the shape space.

Linking community structure and climate vulnerability in desert plant assemblages of southern California

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Botany, EarlyView.
Abstract Premise Desert plant assemblages in southern California provide an opportunity to link patterns of community structure with climate‐driven vulnerability in a rapidly changing environment. California sustains an exceptionally diverse flora of approximately 4300 plant species, with 31% identified as endemic.

Closed geodesics in dilation surfaces

open access: yesGeometry & Topology
We prove that directions of closed geodesics in every dilation surface form a dense subset of the circle. The proof draws on a study of the degenerations of the Delaunay triangulation of dilation surfaces under the action of Teichmüller flow in the moduli space.

Bifurcation of Closed Geodesics

open access: yesGeometry, Integrability and Quantization, 2018
This paper is denoted to further study of geodesic bifurcation on surfaces of revolution. We demonstrate an example of bifurcation of closed geodesics on surfaces.

Neurotransmitter‐Defined Degeneration Patterns in Sporadic and C9orf72‐Associated Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis: Predilection to GABAergic, Serotonergic, Opioid, Glutamatergic, Endocannabinoid, and Microglial Systems—Implications for Therapy Development

open access: yesAnnals of Neurology, EarlyView.
Objective Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) has a markedly distinctive clinical and neuroradiological signature, with the preferential involvement of specific brain networks and the apparent sparing of others. The molecular underpinnings of the strikingly selective anatomical vulnerability have not been fully elucidated to date despite the potential ...

A type N radiation field solution with $$\Lambda <0$$ Λ<0 in a curved space-time and closed time-like curves

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2018
An anti-de Sitter background four-dimensional type N solution of the Einstein’s field equations, is presented. The matter-energy content pure radiation field satisfies the null energy condition (NEC), and the metric is free-from curvature divergence.
