Closed Reduction and Percutaneous Pinning

Percutaneous pinning supplemented with a cast is a cheap, simple, quick and still a popular treatment option for unstable distal radius fractures under given circumstances. Using the AO classification system, unstable both A-, C-1 and C-2 fractures may be suitable for percutaneous pinning.
