Revue d’Elevage et de Médecine Vétérinaire des Pays Tropicaux, 1947 De la moelle d’un os long d’hippopotame mort au Parc National Albert, nous avons isolé Clostridium chauvœi, agent causal du charbon symptomatique. L’inoculation a un cobaye femelle de 1 cc d’une culture de 24 heures provoqua la mort en 20 heures.
