The closure property of H $\mathcal{H}$ -tensors under the Hadamard product [PDF]
In this paper, we investigate the closure property of H $\mathcal {H}$ -tensors under the Hadamard product. It is shown that the Hadamard products of Hadamard powers of strong H $\mathcal{H}$ -tensors are still strong H $\mathcal{H}$ -tensors.

Domains via approximation operators [PDF]
In this paper, we tailor-make new approximation operators inspired by rough set theory and specially suited for domain theory. Our approximation operators offer a fresh perspective to existing concepts and results in domain theory, but also reveal ways ...

CLOSURE PROPERTIES OF MEASURABLE ULTRAPOWERS [PDF]
AbstractWe study closure properties of measurable ultrapowers with respect to Hamkin’s notion of freshness and show that the extent of these properties highly depends on the combinatorial properties of the underlying model of set theory. In one direction, a result of Sakai shows that, by collapsing a strongly compact cardinal to become the double ...

Product Convolution of Generalized Subexponential Distributions
Assume that ξ and η are two independent random variables with distribution functions Fξ and Fη, respectively. The distribution of a random variable ξη, denoted by Fξ⊗Fη, is called the product-convolution of Fξ and Fη.

Regularly distributed randomly stopped sum, minimum, and maximum
Let {ξ1,ξ2,...} be a sequence of independent real-valued, possibly nonidentically distributed, random variables, and let η be a nonnegative, nondegenerate at 0, and integer-valued random variable, which is independent of {ξ1,ξ2,...}.

Bipartite Link Prediction by Intra-Class Connection Based Triadic Closure
A variety of real-world systems can be formulated as bipartite link prediction problems where two different types of nodes exist and no links connect nodes of the same type.

Randomly stopped sums with exponential-type distributions
Assume that {ξ1, ξ2, …} are independent and possibly nonidentically distributed random variables. Suppose that η is a nonnegative, nondegenerate at zero and integer-valued random variable, which is independent of {ξ1, ξ2, …}.

Restrictions during pandemic: justified but is it lawful?
The article analyses if restrictions on business during the quarantines were proportionate and legitimate. The authors of this article argue that the forced closure of businesses during quarantine in its essence resembles the institute of taking private ...
