On the orbits of G-closure points of ultimately nonexpansive mappings
Let X be a closed subset of a Banach space and G an ultimately nonexpansive commutative semigroup of continuous selfmappings. If the G-closure of X is nonempty, then the closure of the orbit of any G-closure point is a commutative topological group.

A closure space X is a set endowed with a closure operator P(X) → P(X), satisfying the usual topological axioms, except finite additivity. A T1 closure extension Y of a closure space X induces a structure ϒ on X satisfying the smallness axioms introduced

Artificial molecular machines and motors—Design and control of nanoscale motion
Molecules are constantly moving because of thermal fluctuations, but random motion alone cannot be exploited to perform directional tasks. Artificial molecular machines use chemical, electrical, or light energy to bias this motion. Molecular shuttles, rotary motors, and supramolecular pumps illustrate how nanoscale movement can be controlled and ...

Student behavior during a school closure caused by pandemic influenza A/H1N1 [PDF]
Background: Many schools were temporarily closed in response to outbreaks of the recently emerged pandemic influenza A/H1N1 virus. The effectiveness of closing schools to reduce transmission depends largely on student/family behavior during the closure ...

Background: Patients with congenital absence of a mandibular lateral incisor are often found having difficulty in achieving adequate functional occlusion. It may affect esthetics, mastication, speech, and occlusal balance. Purpose: This paper reported an

The authors study a fuzzy analogue of the closure spaces introduced by \textit{E. Čech} [Topological spaces (1966); pp. 237-241]. Here a closure operator need not be idempotent. The authors note the relation between fuzzy closure spaces and fuzzy topologies, construct closures for products and disjoint unions, and introduce weak versions of continuity ...

Smaller is better: nanobodies meet NMR
Nanobodies are single‐domain antigen‐binding fragments derived from camelid heavy chain antibodies. Their small size, high stability, and exceptional specificity make nanobodies uniquely useful probes for NMR studies of protein dynamics, transient conformational states, and protein–protein interactions.

On Bisimilarity for Quasi-discrete Closure Spaces
Closure spaces, a generalisation of topological spaces, have shown to be a convenient theoretical framework for spatial model checking. The closure operator of closure spaces and quasi-discrete closure spaces induces a notion of neighborhood akin to that of topological spaces that build on open sets. For closure models and quasi-discrete closure models,

Transient oligomers formed by intrinsically disordered proteins may be ‘invisible’ to direct detection yet remain accessible to solution NMR through equilibrium‐exchange measurements and pressure‐jump experiments. Complementary methods report on mass, stoichiometry, selected distance distributions, morphology, and internal packing.
