A Category of Discrete Closure Spaces
Discrete systems such as sets, monoids, groups are familiar categories. The internal strucutre of the latter two is defined by an algebraic operator. In this paper we describe the internal structure of the base set by a closure operator. We illustrate the role of such closure in convex geometries and partially ordered sets and thus suggestthe ...

Structural and biochemical analysis of a B12 superbinder
BtuG proteins are vitamin B12 scavengers in Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron, a dominant human gut bacterium. We present crystal structures of three BtuG homologs bound to cobalamin and its precursor cobinamide, revealing picomolar binding affinities, among the highest known for any natural protein.

Semi Generalized Open Sets and Generalized Semi Closed Sets in Topological Spaces
In this paper we introduce a new class of semi generalized open sets, generalized semi closed sets in topological spaces, and studied some of its basic properties.

New operators in ideal topological spaces and their closure spaces [PDF]
In this paper, we introduce two operators associated with ψ* and *ψ operators in ideal topological spaces and discuss the properties of these operators. We give further characterizations of Hayashi-Samuel spaces with the help of these two operators.

Mycobacterial 3‐methylcrotonyl‐CoA carboxylase uses a mobile biotin‐carrying domain to shuttle a carboxyl group between two catalytic sites, enabling carboxylation of 3‐methylcrotonyl‐CoA during leucine breakdown. Cryo‐electron microscopy captures the carrier at both sites and reveals an inward loop movement that may prevent futile rebinding to the ...

How do genomes gain new functional parts? In eukaryotes, which tend to evolve under weak selection, much of the genome is junk. Palazzo and Qiu borrow the logic of Markov chains to show how non‐functional DNA becomes functional through the appearance of intermediate states, which arise due to epistasis, buffering, and biochemical messiness, allowing ...

Fuzzy θ-closure operator on fuzzy topological spaces
The paper contains a study of fuzzy θ-closure operator, θ-closures of fuzzy sets in a fuzzy topological space are characterized and some of their properties along with their relation with fuzzy δ-closures are investigated.

Multi-argument specialization semilattices [PDF]
If $X$ is a closure space with closure $K$, we consider the semilattice $(\mathcal P(X), \cup)$ endowed with a further relation $ x \sqsubseteq\{ y_1, y_2, \dots, y_n\} $ between elements of $\mathcal P(X)$ and finite subsets of $\mathcal P(X)$, whose ...

Lane Closure Policy Development, Enforcement, and Exceptions: A Survey of Seven State Transportation Agencies, February 2007 [PDF]
Traffic volume increases and an aging infrastructure create the need for reconstruction, rehabilitation, and maintenance of existing facilities. As more motorists feel that delays should be minimal during highway renewal projects, lane closures that ...
