ABSTRACT This study demonstrates that weak magnetic fields (16–40 mT) increase the efficiency of the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) in electrocatalysts based on non‐fullerene acceptor (NFA) derivatives IT‐4Cl and Y6. Electrochemical measurements reveal that the application of the magnetic field reduces the onset potential and increases the current ...

Datasets for radiation emulator in a cloud resolving model
Training sets used in the following reference to the RRTMG-K radiation emulator in a cloud resolving model The structure of input and output variables is slightly changed from the GRL 2020 study. Full datasets, without sub-sampling, are provided. 3s_full.i and 3s_full.o are minimum and maximum values for input and output, respectively. See more details

A Survey of Interlayer Interaction Models for Graphene and Other 2D Materials
Van der Waals interactions arising from electronic polarization at atomically close interfaces generate corrugated interlayer energy landscapes that govern normal and tangential tractions. This review presents an overview of quantum, atomistic, analytical, and continuum modeling approaches, highlighting their roles across length scales in capturing ...

Visual teach‐and‐repeat (VTR) navigation allows robots to learn and follow routes without building a full metric map. We show that navigation accuracy for VTR can be improved by integrating a topological map with error‐drift correction based on stereo vision.

Extraction, classification and visualization of 3-dimensional clouds simulated by cloud-resolving atmospheric model [PDF]
Cloud-resolving atmospheric general circulation models using large-scale supercomputers reproduce realistic behavior of 3-dimensional atmospheric field on a global scale. To understand the simulation result for scientists, conventional visualization methods based on 2-dimensional cloud classification are not enough for understanding individual clouds ...
