In this paper, we explore the constraints on the reionization history that are provided by current observations of the Lyman-alpha forest and the CMB.

This schematic integrates the eight statistically significant causal relationships identified between 1,366 brain imaging‐derived phenotypes (IDPs) and 18 autoimmune inflammatory diseases (AIDs). Arrows indicate the direction of causality inferred from bidirectional two‐sample MR analyses.

Mass-loss rates of Very Massive Stars
We discuss the basic physics of hot-star winds and we provide mass-loss rates for (very) massive stars. Whilst the emphasis is on theoretical concepts and line-force modelling, we also discuss the current state of observations and empirical modelling ...

ABSTRACT Organoid research offers valuable insights into human biology and disease, but reproducibility and scalability remain significant challenges, particularly for epithelial organoids. Here, we present an integrated microfluidic platform that addresses these limitations by enabling high‐throughput generation of uniform hydrogel microparticles ...

X-ray exploration of the outskirts of the nearby Centaurus cluster using Suzaku and Chandra
We present Suzaku observations of the Centaurus cluster out to 0.95r200, taken along a strip to the north west. We have also used congruent Chandra observations of the outskirts to resolve point sources down to a threshold flux around 7 times lower than ...

This study illustrates that maternal smoking during pregnancy (MSDP) is an independent risk factor for IBD in offspring, and DNA methylation serves as a key mechanistic pathway connecting early‐life smoking exposure with IBD risk in offspring. That highlights the urgent need for preventive interventions targeting prospective parents and minors to ...

Quantifying properties of ICM inhomogeneities
We present a new method to identify and characterize the structure of the intracluster medium (ICM) in simulated galaxy clusters. The method uses the median of gas properties, such as density and pressure, which we show to be very robust to the presence ...

In trophoblast cells, T/S (TNFα + SM164) activated caspase‐3, which cleaved GSDME to switch apoptosis to pyroptosis, causing cell swelling, membrane rupture, and release of LDH, HMGB1, IL‐1β and IL‐18. These cytokines induced pro‐inflammatory macrophage polarization, which in turn reinforced pyroptotic signaling in trophoblasts, amplifying systemic ...

Multi‐Tissue Genetic Regulation of RNA Editing in Pigs
This study presents the first multi‐tissue map of RNA editing and its genetic regulation in pigs. By integrating RNA editing profiles, edQTL mapping, GWAS, and cross‐species comparisons, this work establishes RNA editing as a distinct regulatory layer linking genetic variation to complex traits, highlighting its functional and evolutionary significance.
