Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Automatic management technology of object storage systems

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2017
The object storage system not only breaks the bottleneck of the traditional SAN storage system, but also achieves the expansion of performance and capacity linearly in video monitoring field. However, the remote management for the resources of the object ...

Quantitative Assessment of Urban Expansion Impact on Vegetation in the Lanzhou–Xining Urban Agglomeration

open access: yesApplied Sciences
The Rapid expansion of the Lanzhou–Xining (Lanxi) urban cluster in China during recent decades poses a threat to the fragile arid environment. Quantitatively assessing the impact of urban expansion on vegetation in the Lanxi urban cluster has profound ...

Expansion of Cluster Head Stability Using Fuzzy in Cognitive Radio CR-VANET

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
The Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET) plays a vital role in the development of smart cities, especially in ensuring vehicles' safety on roads. However, VANET wireless-based networks face some challenges such as security, stability, communication, and ...

In vitro and in silico modelling of ROS1‐positive non‐small cell lung cancer reveals fusion‐dependent tyrosine kinase inhibitor responses

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

The cluster expansion in statistical mechanics [PDF]

open access: yes, 1976
The Glimm-Jaffe-Spencer cluster expansion from constructive quantum field theory is adapted to treat quantum statistical mechanical systems of particles interacting by finite range potentials.

ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...
