Cluster based routing protocol for mobile nodes in wireless sensor network [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Mobility of sensor nodes posed new challenges particularly in energy consumption and demands researchers' attention. Some real applications impose combined environments of fixed and mobile sensor nodes in the same network, while others demand a complete ...

Identification of serum protein biomarkers for pre‐cancerous lesions associated with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This work identified serum proteins associated with pancreatic epithelial neoplasms (PanINs) and early‐stage PDAC. Proteomics screens assessed genetically engineered mice with abundant PanINs, KPC mice (Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐KrasG12D/+ Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐Trp53R172H/+ Pdx1‐Cre) before PDAC development and also early‐stage PDAC patients (n = 31), compared to benign ...

Balancing energy consumption in clustered wireless sensor networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
International audienceClustering in wireless sensor networks is an efficient way to structure and organize the network. It aims at identifying a subset of nodes within the network and bind it to a leader (i.e. cluster-head).

Relaxing Weighted Clustering Algorithm for Reduction of Clusters and Cluster Head

open access: yesInternational Journal of Scientific Engineering and Technology, 2015
Adhoc clustering in MANET is to divide mobile nodes into different virtual groups. Mobile nodes are allocated geographically adjacent in the cluster. Clustering is done by some rule specific in the network. In this paper, we have concentrated to modify weight based clustering algorithm to improve the performance in this wireless technology.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Dynamics of many-particle fragmentation in a Cellular Automaton model

open access: yes, 2003
A 3D Cellular Automaton model developed by the authors to deal with the dynamics of N-body interactions has been adapted to investigate the head-on collision of two identical bound clusters of particles, and the ensuing process of fragmentation.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.
